Hi everyone, a little update while I work on my next blog post. I just received my copy of the Dollhouse Miniatures magazine in the mail and I'm excited to share my 2017 Creatin Contest entry, the Belmont dollhouse, has been featured! I'm so humbled to be included alongside some other incredibly talented miniaturists in this issue.
The article is written by Pam North and mentions how I went about building the dollhouse, some of the challenges I faced, and what my favourite things were. I was excited to see some of the new images I took were included too. When I took more photos for the magazine I learned to use a big reflector to get more light into the dollhouse and I think it created a more open and airy look. (I plan on sharing how I did that in the future!)
This is all thanks to the HBS Creatin Contest, thanks so much to Dollhouse Miniatures magazine and HBS miniatures.com! I really can't wait to see this year's entrants, we're halfway there!
Looking forward to sharing my progress on my current dollhouse very soon. Things are really starting to shape up now. Hope everyone is having a great week!
