Dollhouse Nursery Collection

I have been so looking forward to sharing these amazing handcrafted miniatures with you all.  For Christmas this year my boyfriend surprised me with some major miniature love.  I kind of knew a mini mitre saw was in the works, but I hadn't been expecting the surprise nursey collection he gifted me as well.  It was the best surprise!

Here's a little bit about the maker before I give you a tour of my new collection.  Jane runs Thimble Mins on Etsy (@Thimblemins on Instagram) and offers handcrafted nursery items, as well as polymer clay babies, furniture, and Halloween/witch themed pieces.  She tours all over the UK at miniature fairs and her work is one of a kind.

She has tiny prams/strollers, highchairs, baby swings, playpens and more!  I've been eyeing her play-pens for years.  She makes her own fabric too, which allows for prints to have the cutest designs and be in perfect scale.  I love how there are so many moveable parts, like wheels and accessories.  Very durable too.

So first up, the little pram/stroller!
Features so many cute add-ons and little deatils.

Next is the larger play-pen.  I love that both the top pieces on the playpen are removable for a different look and storage.  It looks just like the real thing!
The high-chair is in a different fabric but I love the bright pink against the white.  It will likely go into the kitchen so I was okay with it not being the same.  I think the tray on it is adorable.

Also included are these little books.
And this floor mat is another great way to incorporate the theme.

Here they are with my Bespaq pieces.  I can't wait to combine everything together.
I know I have a lot more dollhouse building to finish but I can't help but take out some of the fabric and envision the room.  Since receiving these items I contacted Jane to make some custom matching extras for the room in the same fabric.  I can't wait to see them.  She's been fabulous!

I hope you enjoyed looking through my new minis, it's not something I usually share outside of a finished 'scene' but I thought you might enjoy them as they are!  A little sneak peek of what's to come...

As for that mini mitre saw I got (squee!) I'm sure it will make an appearance on here soon!

    1. Hi Fran,
He's also the one that picked out my Elf Double Glass Door fridge, which has to be one of my all time favourites! So I guess he really does have a good eye, or memory of what I say I wish I had haha
And do check her out, we both were so impressed!

    1. Thanks! I know the mitre saw is pretty exciting too ;) I'm sure the perfect project will come up to use it. We've had such trouble cutting miniature wood up with the large one.

  9. Oh my pink heaven!!! These pieces are just too much! Completely adorable, and enough to make you start a nursery roombox just to display these wonders! The boyfriend is a keeper for surprising you in this romantic way, and he must recognize the special talent you have and be extremely supportive to encourage you! The big house is going to be amazing, Kristine, and I hope you get to begin the decorating process in 2019!!! I am so excited to see more of the rooms you have planned!
